Ace all-rounder will be able to play home cricket from Sept 15
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has reduced the suspension of all-Shakib Al Hasan aces over three and a half months, which allows him to return to cricket on September 15 ..
The BCB Mirpur committee meeting today, decided to Shakib selection will be available from 15 September.
However, the BCB’s decision to not provide the left-handed non-objection certificates to play in foreign leagues until December 31, 2015 did not see a change.
Shakib who was involved in a number of inconsistencies in the year to July 7 was suspended for six months for an appeal of the suspension handed against two weeks later apologized for his behavior.
The BCB has taken the decision following the appeal.
The social media Twitter and Facebook feeds busy soon after Shakib publicly apologized for the wrongs yesterday afternoon. There were a few reviews, but the majority of them supported the all-rounder.
Shakib, who tweeted yesterday, and stated a desire to get back on the playing field as possible, as soon as a large number of responses received.
Tweets such as “We need to track back”, “I hope the BCB to review the legal basis and provides you with an Eid gift” and “I think Shakib deserves to play in the Zimbabwe series, if not the West Indies “flooded the timeline.
